Residenza Conte di Cavour & Rooftop

We recently spent two nights at this lovely hotel. Check-in was very easy at their sister hotel as we arrived a little later than planned. We met Federica and she is such a lovely, warm, welcoming woman. It was my birthday so she upgraded our room which was a really kind gesture. The location was great for us. The rooftop is wonderful both day and night. As a female travelling with my teenage daughter, we felt very safe which is important to me. We did not hear any noise from our room which was the room with steps to a mezzanine level. I requested an iron and ironing board and it was left in our room while we were out so was ready for us when we got back. The cleaning was of a high standard with lovely white fresh towels every day. Loved the shower in our bathroom! Check-out was easy too. We left our luggage in the sister hotel where it was tagged and looked after until we collected it later in the day. We spend a lot of time in Florence, normally in an Airbnb, but now we will always stay here every time. Top tip. Instead of instinctively turning left when leaving the building to go into the historical centre, turn right. In a few steps you will find a lovely caffe on the corner of Piazza San Marco.
